During Italian Motor Week, SIM Maranello opened its doors to the public to celebrate Italy’s motoring heritage and share its vision for the future of driving simulation.
A national event showcasing the excellence of Italian-made products
From 13 to 21 September, Italian Motor Week – the flagship event organised by Città dei Motori, a national network of towns and cities renowned for their motoring traditions – paid tribute to the places, brands, people, and stories that have made Italy a world leader in the automotive industry. An entire week dedicated to the finest Italian-made cars, with events taking place nationwide, including museum visits, rallies, test drives, exhibitions, and guided tours. Maranello, the beating heart of the Ferrari world, also embraced the event, offering residents, visitors, and motor enthusiasts unique experiences and exclusive access to areas normally closed to the public.
SIM Maranello, opening doors to unique driving experiences
During Italian Motor Week, SIM Maranello joined the initiative, opening its doors for a special Saturday event. In partnership with Maranello Town Council, our lounge welcomed guests registered through the municipal portal. For these guests, it was a chance to step into the world of professional driving simulators and experience firsthand how technology can recreate the excitement of the track with pinpoint precision. This was not a business-focused event, but an opportunity to strengthen our connection with the local community and share our expertise with those interested in sim racing and professional driving simulators.
Our mission: to innovate while keeping close ties with the local area
We place great value on events like this. They allow us to reinforce our presence in the region, promote motorsport culture, and further our mission to bring simulator technology to a broader audience, from enthusiasts to professionals.
